Workshops can be booked for private groups, and also form part of the Country Parks Events listings. Some examples are:

 

·    Bright sparks - learn ancient and historic firelighting techniques

·    Dyes and Spinning - History of spinning and dyeing, and cloth manufacture

·    From sting to string - learn how to make nettles into cordage; encouraging people to see there is more to nettles than their sting; other historic natural materials are also used to make string

·    Prehistoric pots - learn the origin of ceramics, and make your own bowl

·     Breadmaking - learn about the origins of farming, combined with some experimental archaeology
