Modern Slavery Statement

Nottinghamshire County Council has declared its support and commitment to stop modern slavery and human trafficking.

Councillors formally agreed the County Council’s Modern Slavery Statement at the Policy Comittee meeting in May 2019.

All local authorities are required to publish an annual statement [PDF] to outline the steps they have taken to prevent human trafficking and slavery occurring in employment, supply chains and by those delivering services on our behalf.

Reed Global is used by the County Council to provide agency workers. The company has provided a Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement [PDF] to highlight its commitment to acting ethically to prevent modern slavery or human trafficking in its supply chains or in any part of its business.
