Civil wedding ceremonies/wedding receptions
The Council chamber and the Rufford suite are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies evenings and Saturdays.
We are not able to take a booking for a ceremony without booking a reception, but we are able to take a booking for a wedding reception when the ceremony has been held elsewhere.
Hire costs
Assembly room:
£60 per hour for up to three hours. Over three hours there is a one off charge of £250.
Rufford suite:
£30 per hour for up to three hours. Over three hours there is a one off charge of £120.
Council chamber:
£30 per hour for up to three hours. Over three hours there is a one off charge of £120.
Committee rooms:
£20 per hour for up to three hours. Over three hours there is a one off charge of £80.
Flip charts, over-head projectors and laptop projectors are available on request.
We are able to provide free room hire to registered charities.
