Drugs education
The review considered support for schools in delivering an effective drugs education programme across all key stages, particularly key stages 2 and 3.
The review concentrated on examining the content and delivery of the current curriculum around drugs education, including an examination of the DARE programme.
Partners such as Nottinghamshire Drug and Alcohol Team (DAAT) and Nottinghamshire Police and Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CRDP), were consulted as part of the review.
Drugs education - in the context of the review - included drugs, alcohol, tobacco, medicines and solvents.
