How are we doing

Performance at the Council is assessed both externally and internally:

• the Audit Commission judges the Council each year through the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA). At the moment, the Council has the rating of three stars (out of a possible four) and is “improving adequately”

• the Council reports directly to the public and partners in performance reports such as the Annual Performance Plan

• we also listen to the views of the population of Nottinghamshire, so we conduct regular satisfaction surveys which help us to improve our services

• in order to further improve, we also welcome external overview from the Business Improvement Board, which reviews and advises on the running of the Council.
