  • Priorities for action identified by the Accidental Injury Task Force were children, young adults and older people.
  • Over 50 per cent of all hospital admissions for Over 60s in Nottinghamshire are as a result of falls.

Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, together with Government Office for the East Midlands (GOEM), have established an Avoidable Injury Partnership.

The partnership aims are to highlight avoidable injuries and to work with partners on addressing this issue.
