Office closures for staff conference

Nottinghamshire Registration Service is taking the unusual step of closing its register offices for one day on Thursday 27 November 2008.

The registration service is undergoing a number of major changes and all staff will be attending a conference on that day to focus on this.

It will not be possible to register any births or deaths, request copy certificates or make an appointment to meet with a registrar on this day. However, if you have an urgent matter, you can telephone 08449 808080.

Business will resume as normal on Friday 28 November 2008.
