The Customer Service points offer:
- advice and information on all Council services and those of partner organisations
- one-to-one advice from one of our trained and helpful advisors
- confidentiality
- assistance with form completion and verification of documents
All sites have loop systems, provide access in over 100 languages and can arrange for a BSL interpreter to be present if you require.
All are conveniently situated and work in partnership with many organisations including: Borough/District Councils; Primary Care Trusts - to assist with health care enquiries; and the Pensions Service (Department of Work and Pensions) - to offer advice and information on pensions.
Retford and Worksop Customer Service points are involved in the Help Point network - a network of video access points across Bassetlaw where you can contact our advisors directly from your local community centre or village hall.
