Population projections

The Joint Structure Plan is currently being prepared and we will publish projections for this plan (for 2001-2021) once the Plan is approved. Brief details of these projections (which are interim at present) are available with the Joint Structure Plan Examination-in -Public documents in "Housing Background Paper 2" [PDF 283KB]

The earlier Structure Plan Review Population Projections are 1991 based and so are now out-of-date; their use is not recommended. Bulletins with these projections are available for reference in County and district libraries and in most school libraries.
