Warsop Infotech Group is a voluntary community group aiming to promote wider access to modern technology and skills training in a friendly and supportive environment. This group has worked to provide the community of Warsop with one of the best equipped I.T. training suites in the district, based in the Town Hall and run in partnership with Notts County Council.

The Group is run by a committee. It has a project worker Tracy Grant and a team of volunteer helpers to offer support to members at drop-in sessions. Adults (18 and over) can join the Group for a small annual fee and have access to computers, e-mail, the internet and resources at the four drop-in sessions each week. A range of digital video cameras, digital cameras, and scanners is available for use for courses and for Infotech members to borrow.  Infotech strives to help members to keep up with new technology and the latest piece of equipment is a USB turntable that can digitise your old records – LPs, singles, even 78s!

The Group has an excellent range of Family History resources and also runs a family history drop-in and workshop session to enable people to further their research.
