Community Support
Jeanne Raspin, Community development worker for the Warsop area, attends Warsop Town Hall most Thursdays. Groups can contact her for support and advice on setting up, running meetings, fundraising and capacity building or help with a particular problem.
Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team
P.C. Paul Bacon is the Beat Officer for Market Warsop and P.C. Dave Booler is the Beat Officer for Church Warsop. The Neighbourhood Policing Team consists of 3 Police Community Support Officers and 2 Neighbourhood Wardens.
P.C. Bacon holds a monthly surgery at the Town Hall, for members of the public who have concerns over policing issues. This is on the last Thursday of the month from 3 – 5pm. P.C. Bacon can be contacted on 420999 ext 3270, or 07729090967
Citizens’ Advice Bureau
Mansfield Citizens’ Advice Bureau holds outreach advice sessions at the Town Hall each Tuesday. 3 appointments with a volunteer adviser are available – at 10am, 11am and 12 noon. To book an appointment, please enquire at Warsop Town Hall.
Credit Union
Worksop and District Credit Union holds a collection point at the Town Hall. Credit unions are community-based savings and loans co-operatives. This offers a friendly, local and convenient way to build up your savings and gain access to low cost loans if needed. The Collection point is open from 10am till 12 noon on Thursdays.
Family Employment Initiative
The Family Employment Initiative holds a drop-in session at the Centre for one-to-one advice and support for those seeking employment or careers advice. Help with application forms, preparing CVs and practical support in overcoming obstacles to employment can be provided. This is a free, confidential and no obligation service.
The weekly drop-in session is on Thursday mornings. It is also possible to make an appointment to see an adviser outside of the drop-in time – just enquire at the Town Hall.
