Telecentre

As a Nottinghamshire County Council Trading Organisation, our services are available to other local authorities, public sector organisations and registered charities.

Being part of Design, Publications and Print, the web design team at the Telecentre work closely with the in-house design team to provide a complete web design and management service.

The Telecentre began in January 1996 (see Telecentre History) as a Nottinghamshire County Council, pilot project to test the concept of remote working (see Teleworking) and to offer employment and training opportunities to the north of the County of Nottinghamshire.

We ensure that our designs conform to all current government regulations and recommendations for the publication of on-line information, ensuring that your web site is accessible to all.

Nottinghamshire County Council Telecentre, the remote working facility at Warsop, was recently awarded Winner of the Mobility Category of the 2003 National eWell-Being Awards for its use of Information and Communication Technologies in an innovative way to reduce the impact of transport.
