Road safety and drugs
Driving under the influence of drugs (whether illegal or prescribed) is just as dangerous as drink driving. Check the instructions on the packet or bottle for their effects before driving. If you’re still unsure ask your doctor or pharmacist if they may affect your driving.
Never take illegal drugs before driving. The effects are unpredictable and can be even more severe than alcohol.
