Road safety
We aim to reduce casualties from road traffic accidents and reduce the number of car journeys to and from schools.
We do this by offering:
- The school crossing patrol service for Nottinghamshire
- Assisting schools in developing school travel plans
- Assisting schools taking part in walk to school events
- Developing safer routes to school
- Education, training and publicity for all ages on road safety for:
- Cyclists
- Pedestrians
- Drivers
- Motorcyclists - Road safety education in schools
- Road safety information for parents
