Personal Search Enquiries

The County Council is the Highway Authority for the districts in Nottinghamshire excluding trunk roads, motorways and the City of Nottingham.  Queries relating to the status of the highways and the proximity of traffic or road schemes may be requested through a Personal Search Enquiry.

The Council acknowledges the need for a timely response to enquiries and will endeavour to reply within two working days of receiving a cheque for the correct amount of charges through a Personal Search Enquiry. Please note that there are occasional instances where the information is not immediately available. We will inform you if this happens.

The County Council's procedure for handling all Personal Search Enquiries is set out below.
