Adopted highway search
To locate an adopted highway, enter the name of the street (or road number preceded by A or B) and click "Search". If you are unsure of the road name, enter part of it (e.g. Ble% - will list all roads that start with "Ble", such as Bleak Road, Bleasby Road, Bleasby Crescent etc.)
Please note that this database does not include any roads that are not adopted (including those covered by a Section 38 agreement), those within Nottingham City boundaries and footpaths/other rights of way.
If your search has returned an error message this could be for one of the following reasons:
- Incorrect spelling of the road name. Please check the spelling you have used e.g. Elm Tree Road or Elmtree Road
- The road you are searching for is within Nottingham City boundaries. Please contact Nottingham City Council for information
- The road you are searching for is within the boundaries of another county. Please check the address and contact the relevant authority
- The road you are searching for has not been adopted.
Disclaimer
The list has been prepared using the best information available from records at the time of publication. It does not, however, constitute a definitive statement as to the status of any particular highway and only refers to the length adopted, not lateral extents e.g. whether or not a grass verge is included.
To narrow down the search you may also optionally select either the district or the town/village.
If the result states that the highway in question is 'part adopted' and you would like further details, please write (including a plan) to:
