Boughton Boomerang
The Boughton Boomerang has been re-launched as a new type of bus service. It combines a range of normal bus journeys with a demand responsive service that offers the convenience of a taxi but at the cost of a bus.
The Boomerang will serve everyone living in or visiting Boughton, Ollerton and Wellow with fixed commuter and shopping journeys.
The commuter services link up with Stagecoach buses to Mansfield at Briar Road in Ollerton with through tickets available. They also provide links to Boughton and Newark Road Industrial Estates as well as Sherwood Energy Village.
The shopper services link areas of Boughton, Ollerton and Wellow with the shops and other services in Ollerton.

The Boughton Boomerang is operated by brand new fully accessible low floor buses. These buses are bright yellow with a distinctive branding that makes them stand out, because these are buses with a difference.
These services have been planned and designed following consultation with the local community and in partnership with Ollerton District Economic Forum (ODEF). They are being funded with a grant that is only available for a limited period. If you use the bus it will continue to run, if you don't it will simply stop operating.
