Flexible bus services

The County Council funds a number of demand responsive transport (DRT) services that operate across Nottinghamshire.

DRT services are flexible bus services that offer pre-booked journeys from your local bus stop to destinations of your choice. DRT buses also operate some timetabled journeys for commuting, shopping and healthcare purposes.

There are currently three DRT schemes in operation in Nottinghamshire.

In Ollerton and the surrounding areas the Boughton Boomerang and the Sherwood Sweeper provide flexible travel to improve access to services for residents of the area.

Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby are served by the Ashfield Mini Lynx buses that provide access to work, shopping and healthcare services.

The villages between Bingham and Newark are served by the Village Lynx and Village Lynx Plus bus networks linking local communities to the two towns.
