Notes:
- To apply for travel assistance you must complete form TA1 [PDF 63KB]
which is available here or from your school. Alternatively you can request a copy of the 2009/10 scheme booklet from us, or tel: 08449 80 80 80. - Should you be unsuccessful in being awarded travel assistance and disagree with the assessment made, you can go through the Travel Review Process.
- The walking distance is calculated from your home address to the catchment school for your area. Check the catchment school for your home address. Alternatively contact us on tel: 08449 80 80 80.
- The walking route is not necessarily the same as the route by car because footpaths or paved areas may form part of the route. To ensure your child's safety they may need someone to accompany them on their journey and this would be your responsibility.
- Where it's considered that no appropriate public transport exists, a grant in place of a free pass will be considered. Please see the relevant booklet for details.
