School travel and passes

These pages contain a brief summary of the travel assistance scheme for school children and students in Nottinghamshire.

The scheme is managed by the Council's Nottinghamshire Transport Service.  Information is available here for the under 16 age group.

The travel assistance scheme for post 16 students provides half price travel between home and school/college up to 22.00 hours Monday to Fridays where bus and train services are available.

For pupils with special transport needs, assistance is available for travel to school within your catchment area.

The under 16 scheme and special transport needs assistance are based on travelling distances within school catchment areas. To confirm the catchment school for your home address please contact either the school involved or your local education office on the numbers below:
