Helping people over 50 stay independent, active and healthy

What is Notts 50plus?

Notts 50plus is a partnership working to improve the quality of life for people over 50 in Nottinghamshire.

Notts 50plus aims to increase choice and control for people over 50 by:

  • promoting independence, health and well-being
  • improving access to information, opportunities and services.

What are we doing?

We are developing new services to help people aged 50 plus and living in Nottinghamshire stay independent, active and healthy.

  • Watch our video to see some of our services and what people think about them.

How is it funded?

Notts 50plus is mainly funded by central government through their Invest to Save and Link Age Plus programmes. There is additional funding from Nottinghamshire County Council and the Supporting People Partnership. Nottinghamshire will have over £1million in total to invest in services for people over 50 until autumn 2008.
