Housing choices

Your housing needs change over time. We can provide advice and support to help you choose the best place to live. We also offer information on how to meet the cost of accommodation in the long term.

Care homes

Residential and Nursing Homes are now called Care homes.

They provide personal care, meals and accommodation to people who are no longer able to look after themselves.

Extra care housing

Extra care housing allows you to live independently in your own home as part of a supported housing scheme, but with access to on-site staff 24 hours a day.

Adult Placement Scheme

Adult placement is for adults with a learning disability, who want to live in a homely environment but cannot manage to live on their own. It offers accommodation and support within approved family homes.

Supported living

Aiming for Excellence
