One in seven people suffer hearing loss.

Many people over the age of 50 begin to lose some of their hearing. They may experience difficulty hearing the television, telephone and everyday conversation.

If you think that this is happening to you, you should make an appointment to see your GP.

Usually, your GP will arrange for you to see an ENT (ear/nose/throat) consultant, who will test your hearing.

Depending on the outcome of that test, you may be issued with a hearing aid.

We will then do an assessment, to find out more about you, and how you are affected by your hearing impairment.

We can then arrange services that you might need and arrange to loan you environmental equipment.

There are a wide range of local and national organisations that can offer advice and support if you think you are losing your hearing.
