Overnight and Longer Breaks
These are planned, residential breaks for the person you care for.
Adult Social Care and Health Department with Nottinghamshire Health Care NHS Trust provide overnight stays and longer breaks in purposely designed units for up to eight people. They offer a high standard of accommodation in single rooms, most of them en suite.
The service aims to be flexible. This means:
- The service can be arranged to meet individual needs.
For example, nursing staff can be available for people who need them. - A unit can be reserved for use by a particular group for an agreed period.
For example: a group of young people all aged between 18 and 25 can have a short break together in one unit with activities arranged to suit them; or a short break can be arranged for an all female or all male group (including staff) with activities and services arranged to suit their preferences.
There are four units offering a range of different services.
