  • Age Concern Nottinghamshire
    Age Concern Services in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire
  • BILD - British Institute of Learning Disabilites
    The British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) is committed to improving the quality of life for the 1.2 million people in the UK with a learning disability.
  • Carers Federation
    The Carers Federation Ltd was established in 1992 to support carers and the people for whom they care. The organisation Lobbies for an improved deal for carers and provides a range of services.
  • Circles Network
    Circles Network is a national voluntary organisation formed in 1994 with an educational objective to build inclusive communities. Their head office is in Rugby, UK, but they also have offices in Bristol, London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Northern Ireland.
  • Commission for Social Care Inspection
    Launched in April 2004, The Commission for Social Care Inspection is the single, independent inspectorate for all social care services in England.
  • Disabled Workers Co-operative
    The Disabled Workers Co-operative is a registered charity that helps disabled people to help themselves. The aims are twofold - to raise the independence of disabled people (for those that want it) by enabling them to take an active role in the economy and achieve a greater sense of self-worth and also to raise awareness of the contribution that disabled people can make to society.
  • Healthcare Commission
    The Healthcare Commission promotes improvement in the quality of the NHS and independent healthcare.
  • Home Farm Trust
    The Trust is a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities.
  • Independent Living Fund
    The Independent Living Fund was set up as a national resource dedicated to the financial support of disabled people to enable them to choose to live in the community rather than in residential care.
  • Learning Disability Partnership Board
    The Learning Disability Partnership Board was set up to make sure the "Valuing People" plan works in Nottinghamshire.
  • Mencap
    Mencap is the UK's leading learning disability charity working with people with a learning disability and their families and carers.
  • MIND
    Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales.
  • NHS Nottinghamshire
    Nottinghamshire Healthcare is one of the country’s leading mental health and learning disability service providers. The Trust was formed in April 2001 from a number of organisations providing mental health and learning disability services to the whole of Nottinghamshire.
  • Nottingham and Notts Advocacy Alliance
    The Alliance provides support for anyone who wants to speak out about things that are important to them, like health, welfare rights, medication, accommodation and you don't have to be at crisis point for them to help.
  • Nottingham Mencap
    An independent local voluntary organisation dedicated fully to the service of people with a learning disability and their families who live in the Nottingham area.
  • Nottinghamshire Adults Protection
    Members represent various organisations/agencies/perpectives on the Nottinghamshire Committee for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults
  • Valuing People Support Team
    Valuing People is the Government's plan for making the lives of people with Learning Disabilities and their families better
