Safeguarding Children Board's (SCB) were set up to assist organisations to work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Read more about our role and the work of our subcommittees.

We work across many different aspects of safeguarding children including:
- Child protection procedures – guidelines for how local statutory and voluntary organisations should work together to safeguard children and young people and promote their welfare
- Practice guidance – to assist in responding to specific needs of children and families
- Training – to enable participants to keep the welfare of children at the centre of their work
- Useful resources – links to important documents, legislation and useful websites
- What’s new? – find out about the latest developments, projects and events in your area. You can also contribute your own information and ideas.
