Carers: Have your say - Nottinghamshrire County Council

We are committed to listening to the views of service users and their carers. If you are involved in giving feedback, you help us to change and improve our services.

Carers Strategy Consultation Group

This group meets regularly and allows us and other health care organisations to hear the views of carers around the county. It is attended by organisations that represent carers and people with disabilities, as we recognise that attending meetings may not be a carer's first choice when it comes to deciding how they spend their free time!

If you belong to an organisation which would like to send a representative, please contact Di Oxley, tel: 0115 967 1063 or e-mail: di.oxley@nottscc.gov.uk

Carers Assessments

When you have an assessment, the person carrying out the assessment will record any comments you have on the assessment form.

This helps us to plan what services we will make available to carers in the future.

Listening to carers

We hold meetings with carers where we discuss things that affect them.  We also carry out telephone surveys.

We are looking into new ways of keeping in touch with carers.
