Direct payments
Direct payments allow you to arrange your own care and support rather than having it arranged by us. They offer you increased flexibility and control. Find out more about direct payments.
The review of council-run care homes has been completed. After consultation, Councillors have approved a 5 year plan to modernise and re-organise care homes in the County. The press release gives full details of the proposed changes.

The Adult Social Care & Health Department have a Commissioning Strategy that sets out the identified needs of people living in Nottinghamshire. We will commission (buy) or provide the services to meet these needs.

To receive many of our services you must first be assessed. This is where we find out your level of need and which of our services are most appropriate for you.
