Last year’s Southwell Library Poetry Festival was a resounding success.

Headline names included:

• Sir Andrew Motion, Poet Laureate 1999 - 2009
• Michael Rosen, one of the UK's most-loved children's poets
• Jo Shapcott and Don Paterson, two of Britain's leading contemporary poets.

Michael Rosen, one of this year's festival highlights, brought the house down at Southwell Minster in front of a specially invited audience of children from Nottinghamshire schools.
