 National Year of Reading

Nottinghamshire Libraries can help you get into the reading groove. Take a look at the events and activities happening in a library near you during the National Year of Reading. 

 Mapperley Library closure

Mapperley library has closed to allow for essential building works and a refurbishment to be carried out. The library is due to re-open on Monday 1st September 2008. Woodthorpe library's opening hours have been extended for this period. Additional hours will be Mondays 9.00am-1.00pm, Tuesdays 9.00am-1.00pm, 2.00-5.00pm, Fridays and Saturdays 9.00am-1.00pm.

 Kimberley Library closure

Kimberley library has closed for a major refurbishment, and is due to re-open on Monday 20th October 2008. Your nearest library during the 16 week closure is Eastwood Library, whose opening times are: Mondays 9.00am-6.00pm, Tuesdays 9.00am-6.00pm, Thursdays 9.00am-6.00pm, Fridays 9.00-6.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am-4.00pm.

 Clipstone Library closure

Clipstone library has closed for a major refurbishment, and is due to re-open on Monday 24th November 2008. Your nearest library during the closure is Forest Town Library, whose opening times are: Mondays 9.30am-1.00pm 2.00pm-5.30pm, Tuesdays 9.30am-1.00pm 2.00pm-7.00pm, Thursdays 9.30am-1.00pm 2.00pm-7.00pm, Fridays 9.30-1.00pm 2.00pm-5.30pm and Saturdays 9.00am-1.00pm
