Head Start, the social impact of Boots book for babies
The Boots Books for Babies project operated in Nottingham city and county from 1998 to 2005. In 2004 the project commissioned an independent consultancy, Morris Hargreaves and McIntyre, to undertake research into the social impact of the project. As part of this, focus groups and in depth interviews were carried out with a variety of people.
The outcome entitled 'Head Start - the social impact of Boots Books for Babies' clearly shows that the project impacted on families and babies in many ways:
