Several libraries around the County have meeting rooms available for hire, at very reasonable rates. Discounts are available for Community Groups.

Meeting room locations and facilities

We have a large, modern conference suite with onsite catering at Worksop library.

Theatres are available for hire at Sutton in Ashfield and Mansfield libraries (from 2012).

Many of our rooms are equipped with:

  • interactive white boards/projector screens
  • facilities to make your own refreshments
  • larger libraries offer free Wi-Fi access throughout the library

Hours of hire

Some libraries' meeting rooms may be available for hire outside of normal library opening hours as well as during normal opening times.

Newark library and Burton Joyce library are only available for hire outside of normal opening hours as they do not have a dedicated meeting room.
