ELS Opening hours
We are currently considering whether any changes are needed to ELS opening hours and would welcome any views you may have or any suggestions for changes you would like us to consider. If you have any comments please contact us by the end of term.

Please note that ELS will be closed on Monday 31st August.
Changes at the top
Due to the public library re-structuring there have been changes in the management of the Education Library Service. After 22 years as Head of ELS we are saying a fond farewell to Philip Marshall, whose responsibilities have changed. We would like to thank Philip for his hard work, enthusiasm and all he has done for the service. He is still based at Glaisdale so you may still see him if you visit the base.
Carol Newman is the Service Manager Children, Youth and Inclusion for the Public Library and the manager who now has responsibility for the Education Library Service. Carol has moved to Glaisdale, so you may see her when you visit too.
Recommended book lists
