If you are a customer you will receive some free of charge:
- "ELS news" – termly newsletter
- termly lists of recommended books
Others are available for purchase:
- Key Stage 1 information skills pack - a practical publication with ideas for teaching Key Stage 1 children how to use the school library. Covering skills such as using the classification scheme, using subject indexes and the differences between fiction and non-fiction. Activities are linked to the National Literacy Strategy and QCA Schemes of work where possible.
- Subject index booklets – simplified Dewey decimal classification scheme for pupils in:
- Primary schools – "Where’s that book?"
- Secondary schools – "Crack the code"
- "Where’s that book? ( teacher’s edition)" – to help you classify the books in your primary school library
- "Housekeeping pack" – if you are in charge of the primary school library this pack has plenty of hints and tips to help you.
- Book fairs pack - if you are planning a book fair this pack gives hints and tips, and lists local authors and speakers willing to visit schools.
