Country Parks school vists

Sherwood Forest Country Park comprises 450 acres of ancient heath and forest, the legendary home of Robin hood, and one of the oldest areas of native woodland in Europe.

The park provides an inspiring outdoor classroom for school groups.

Environmental activity sessions are led by our ranger team.  For more information, or to arrange a pre-visit, please conatct us:

Charges for School Visits

From 1 April, the charge for ranger led activities with school groups will be £15 per class per one hour session.

Advance booking and payment is essential.
Rufford Country Park

Just a few miles from Sherwood Forest Country Park, Rufford Country Park also welcomes school groups.
