Step back in time as Rufford Abbey comes to life with costumed characters, activities and entertainment portraying ten tempestuous centuries of its history.
Come face to face with ferocious Norman warriors. Watch a smart Regency recruiting party practise musket firing. Chat with Victorian ladies of fashion, and learn how Tudor folk cooked a meal. From an Elizabethan puppet show to a World War Two concert party, there's plenty of fun for everyone.

Who knows what characters you might meet as you stroll the grounds of Rufford Country Park? Look out for medieval monks, Roundheads, Cavaliers and Coldstream Guards. Beware a roving band of dastardly 18th century highwaymen, who may ask you to "stand and deliver"!
A colourful spectacle for the whole family to enjoy, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the abbey ruins.
