The Earth and Fire International Ceramics Fair takes place annually at Rufford Country Park on the last weekend in June. This year will be its 16th anniversary.

An exhibitor at the Earth and Fire event Over a hundred potters from across the UK and Europe sell direct to the public from market stalls, sited in the Abbey ruins, the cobbled courtyard and the formal grounds. In addition to individual potters stalls there are also a number of trade stands and university stands showing the work of recent graduates plus a full programme of demonstrations and illustrated talks throughout the three days.

Attracting over 7,000 visitors, Earth and Fire showcases the very best in international contemporary studio ceramics.

Entrance to Earth and Fire is free but normal car parking charges apply.

Applications for ceramicists for Earth and Fire 2010 are now closed and a list of selected exhibitors can be seen below.

However applications for trade stands and campus stalls only, will remain open until the end of March 2010.

Earth and Fire takes place in the historic and beautiful grounds of Rufford Abbey Country Park. Not only can you view the wonderful selection of ceramics on sale and Eddie and Margaret Curis's ceramic exhibition 'curtis red' in the gallery, but then why not take a stroll around the park and have a relaxing bite to eat in one of the two cafes.
