In the Youth Service we work with young people aged 10-25 with an emphasis on the 13-19 age group.to promote and support their personal development, social education, health and well being. We enable young people to have a voice and a positive place in their communities and society.

All of this is carried out by the seven district and twelve countywide youth service teams.

We provide young people in Nottinghamshire with something to do, somewhere to go and someone to talk to in the form of: youth clubs, detached youth work, mobile youth projects and events.

Young people aged 13-19 can access c-card registration points at the youth clubs and receive free condoms and safer sex advice.

We also provide young people in Nottinghamshire with information about Positive Activities in their area through the Positive Activities Database. Use the search engine to find clubs and activities by district, area or key word to find activities such as: sports clubs, hobbies and interest groups, voluntary groups and uniformed groups such as Scouts and Guides.
