Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Board - Information for faith organisations

The Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Board (NSCB) has begun to set up a network with faith organisations to communicate and share information.

Safe working practices including child protection procedures are promoted by the Board for all voluntary and faith organisations.

The New Testament Church of God (UK) has also provided an example of child protection procedures for other faith organisations to view when developing their child protection procedures.

The Inter faith council at www.interfaithnottm.org.uk is a forum where the main faith groups in Nottingham/shire come together to build trust, respect and community through people of different faiths and beliefs.
