Service Standards
- Individual risk assessment and management that starts the moment a referral is accepted.
- Individual and group work opportunities to teach harm reduction, risk avoidance, and positive anger management skills.
- Relapse prevention programme to promote decreased risks once a child is discharged.
- Constant supervision of children to minimise risk of harm to self or others.
- A specialist team of qualified workers who devise and deliver bespoke intervention programmes for each child, often based on our in house Cognitive Behavioural Therapy expertise.
- A well qualified and experienced staff team with staff to child ratio of 1:2. Our staff team is balanced in terms of gender and over a third of our staff are from a non-white ethnic background.
- Weekly on site consultation and direct work from a Consultant Child Psychiatrist and a Child Psychologist (CAMHS: Nottingham Healthcare Trust)
