Deaf children and their families

We offer a range of services for children who are deaf or who have a hearing impairment.

The services we provide will depend on your needs and level of hearing loss.

We also offer support and advice to parents and carers of deaf children.

We offer the following services:

• Loan of specialist equipment (e.g. Loop Systems, Vibrating Alarm Clocks, Flashing Light Doorbells).
• Support and advice to parents/carers
• Assessment for support services such as Respite Care, Befriending, Sitting Services, access to Family Centres.
• Referrals for benefits advice
• Advice and information about holidays, play schemes and other resources nationally and locally
• Special educational needs services
• Assessments of the needs of deaf school leavers
• Other sources of information
