Schools Admission Forum
Constitution
The Nottinghamshire Schools Admission Forum is a consultative body set up to consider local school admission arrangements, seek agreement and provide advice to admissions authorities. The forum includes representation from schools, local and diocesan authorities and the wider community. It meets termly.

Primary:
The co-ordinated scheme for admission to primary school is a mechanism that will ensure that every parent or carer who has applied for a Nottinghamshire primary school for their child in the normal admissions round receives an offer of a school place on the same day.

Secondary:
The co-ordinated scheme for admission to secondary school is a mechanism that will ensure that every parent or carer resident in Nottinghamshire who has applied for a secondary school for their child in the normal admissions round receives, where possible, a single offer of a school place on the same day.

Attendance at Forum Meetings
All Nottinghamshire primary and secondary schools are members of the forum and can be represented at meetings either by the school's head teacher or by a governor (other then a local authority member).
If your school wishes to attend one of the termly meetings you should contact Scott Hollingsworth on telephone number 0115 854 6081 or via email scott.hollingsworth@nottscc.gov.uk giving sufficient notice so that if necessary the venue can be changed to accommodate additional participants.
