Pre-school

Our Early Years and Childcare Services works to ensure there is a high quality free early years education place for every three and four year old in Nottinghamshire.

The Families Information Service (www.childcarelink.gov.uk) has detailed information on all Ofsted (www.ofsted.gov.uk) registered pre-school playgroups, nurseries, out of school clubs and childminders, while information about all County Council nurseries and schools is available from your local Education Area Base.

You can also find out more about the Boots Books for Babies scheme as well as the scheme run by the County Council's library service to make books available to under 5's groups and childminders.
