Remission Scheme
To ensure that all young people can access the full range of opportunities both Nottinghamshire County Council and the Arts Support Service have created a remission scheme for instrumental teaching which offers pupils eligible for free school meals:
- Free instrumental lessons
- Free loan of an instrument.
Curriculum Support
Instrumental and Music Teaching is able to provide:
- Curriculum support enabling teachers to develop skills in the delivery of the National Curriculum in Music
- Inset training - for either the whole staff or individual teachers
- Projects tailored to meet individual school needs
- Advice and support on curriculum resources including the use of ICT.
