Environmental education
The Environmental Education Support Service provides a wide range of centres and resources to support outdoor and environmental education in all County Council schools, helping schools access a wide range of other educational opportunities and environmental initiatives.
The Service provides a policy and procedures relating to educational visits for schools which follow DCSF guidelines.
Outdoor education advisers who are part of a national network of advisers in this field are available to give advice and to monitor plans and visits.
