Inspection of safeguarding and looked after children services in Nottinghamshire
Inspection announced!
Notification has been received that the inspection of Safeguarding and Looked After Children's Services in Nottinghamshire is about to take place.
Inspectors will be on site from Monday 8 March until Friday 19 March, although Nottinghamshire County Council and its partner agencies will have preparations to make before this and will be providing files, reports and other documentation in advance.
The inspection will look at the two separate elements: safeguarding services and services for looked after children. Separate grades will be given for each element of the inspection.
The inspection will include not only the County Council’s services but those of our key partners, such as the primary care trusts and the police.
We have drawn together a small project team to co-ordinate and provide dedicated support for our preparation for the inspection.
We will keep colleagues informed as the inspection proceeds and ensure they are aware as to what is required of them.
