Message from Anthony May about Inspection of Safeguarding and Looked After Children's Services.
<p>Dear colleagues,</p>
<p><b>Ofsted Inspection of Safeguarding and Looked After Children&#8217;s Services</b></p>
<p>You will know that we have been the subject of an Ofsted inspection of our safeguarding and looked after children's services. The inspection team completed its fieldwork on 19 March 2010 and has provided informal feedback. The inspection report will be published on 20 April 2010 and until then the feedback is confidential and cannot be shared widely. Following the publication of the report, we will arrange briefings about the inspection and our plans to respond to its findings. Details of these will be circulated as soon as possible.</p>
<p>I would like to thank all those colleagues who participated in the inspection. The lead inspector, Gary Lamb, paid tribute to colleagues for the professional way in which they had engaged with the process.</p>
