This section gives a brief overview of the 2011/12 travel assistance available for pupils under the age of 16 who are Nottinghamshire County Council residents.
- Part 1 describes the assistance available under the Home to School Transport Policy September 2011 [PDF 130KB]
- Part 2 outlines a new discretionary travel scheme which may enable pupils entering year 7 in September 2011 to travel free to a “preferred school”.
There are three ways in which you can apply.
- You can download the under 16 travel scheme booklet [PDF 821KB] here. A copy of the scheme application form TA1 [PDF 375KB] can be downloaded here.
- You can apply directly through the on-line application form. Please note if you are applying on-line you must open and read the Under 16 Travel Scheme booklet and ensure you understand the terms and conditions involved.
