Education Library Service base to be refurbished
In order to create a more welcoming environment for visitors, a major refurbishment programme is scheduled for the next three months. This will inevitably cause some disruption to the service but we will try to keep this to a minimum.
It is more than 20 years since ELS moved into the industrial unit at Glaisdale Parkway. Time has taken its toll on the fabric and it is now necessary to have some building and decoration work done. This will be carried out as part of the County Council’s building improvements and planned maintenance programme.
As a result of this work there will be times when ELS will not be functioning as normal.
- The service will be totally closed from Monday 4th August and will reopen to visitors on Monday 18th August.
The mail order service will continue throughout the refurbishment work.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope it does not cause too many difficulties for you.
