Curriculum complaints

Nottinghamshire County Council maintains several learning centres (known in other areas of the country as pupil referral units) located in Mansfield, Worksop, Newark and Nottingham.

Learning centres provide alternative education for pupils who are permanently excluded from school. It is expected that the curriculum at the learning centres will be appropriate to the needs of the pupils on the centres’ rolls. Sometimes however parents may wish to complain about the education provided at the centres.

Nottinghamshire local authority takes all complaints seriously. We have produced an information leaflet for parents and members of the public who have a complaint regarding the curriculum at our learning centres.

You can download a copy of the learning centre curriculum complaints leaflet or can obtain a copy by calling 0115 977 3565.
